Gloomy and drizzly today, so no real chance to get out and shoot — another one from the archives, this time a little more recent. Taken on a there-and-back 48 hour road trip to Chattanooga back in March, the weather that weekend was almost as miserable as it is here today, but there was something lovely and strange and sad about wandering around on top of Lookout Mountain, at Point Place, one of the national parks in Chattanooga, in the fog and mist and damp.
I always prefer the sun but sometimes the rain suits my mood, and my shooting, a little better.
