What: looks like a chili cheese dog? I think

With whom: this was 20 years ago, but I can only assume that it was at least my old college pal Lani

Why: Chicago, and also Project Heartburn. This popped up in my TimeHop last week and I figured I might as well get Illinois crossed off the list retroactively.

Grade: Hot Doug’s was an A+ institution and it is still missed. The duck fat fries were incredible.
