Worth getting up for in December: holiday music; Ash’s pictures of the Christmas lights on 34th Street in Baltimore; Christmas at the beach¹; the post-Weis-firing Notre Dame coach search rumors (but not Brian Kelly leaving Cincinnati for ND DDD:); donuts; #IowansInMiami; Trekky Records’ Christmas at the Cradle; having actualfax sick leave when I am actualfax sick; getting to see Micah live, and an unexpectedly lovely evening of conversation at the Cave; the news that the Truckers are releasing the Big To-Do two days before my 30th birthday; “they sounded like the Crash Test Dummies … crossed with Pink Floyd”; starting to think about 2010 road trips; a GPS!  for all emergency Cracker Barrel locatings on road trips!; Joey Kneiser’s solo album (free!  here!); starting the list of 2010 releases I’m excited about; the last godforsaken month of this godforsaken year; the prospect of heretofore unseen Tennessee Williams screenplays; looking at your life choices and feeling good about them; naps, always naps; cheese; two buck Chuck from Trader Joe’s, even if costs $2.99 here; leaving the house for New Year’s parties; kissing at midnight.
