Carolina won their NCAA baseball regional over the weekend; the senior class is 12-0 in regionals over the last four years. This is a shot of the scouts who were out in large numbers to watch Alex White’s start on Saturday. Creepy.

We had much “better” seats for the two regional games we attended than we usually have, but I think ultimately I prefer our season tickets seats, which had a clear view to home plate and the visitor’s dugout without interference. Shooting the batters through the screen from our weekend seats — don’t get me wrong, I am very, very grateful for the screen behind the plate, so as not to get knocked out by a foul ball — was just sort of a pain in the butt.
