Saturday afternoon at the Cradle, a bunch of great bands got together and played a show to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Southern Folklife Collection at UNC — I missed the morning panel about the history of the Cradle because I was super lazy on Saturday. I shot photos of Dex Romweber Duo and Los Texmaniacs, and snagged a great interview with Dex and Sara Romweber that’ll go up on Speakers tomorrow.

The SFC is an amazing collection — one of a kind in the US — and it’s well worth checking out their website to see the kind of amazing stuff they have. What a resource for southern music and arts.
