Thao & the Get Down Stay Down opened the show, same as the last time I saw THATH in 2011, and they were equally as excellent now as then. I forget between seeing Thao how much I love her slithery, funky, sometimes dirty rock and roll, and her band’s total commitment to a live performance — they fueled the crowd as surely as THATH did.
