I wrote about what Fall Out Boy means to me, and what it meant to me to shoot them on Friday night, for Speakers In Code.
Some other things:
- They played everything I could have hoped to hear, except the acoustic version of “Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner” from the My Heart EP, which I will never hear. But that means “Disloyal Order”, “Hum Hallelujah”, “What A Catch”, “Sugar”, “Young Volcanoes”. They were absolutely tight as hell and on fire.
- Patrick Stump has the best skin in the world. I wanted to pass him a note from the photo pit that said what is your skin care regimen please tell me.
- He is also looking so happy and healthy. So is Peter. Pete looked — well, Pete looked like a joyous dad. Which is the weirdest thing I’ve ever written about Pete Wentz, and trust me, without needing links, I have written some weird shit about Pete Wentz.
- This show made my soul happy. Like, the essential essence of who I am: this show, being in the pit with my camera while Patrick Stump beamed, dancing with t. and shep. and Katness after I shot.
