My friend Jonny is a lunatic.

A funny, brilliant, good-hearted lunatic with huge ideas, but a lunatic all the same. And he’d agree with me on that assessment, so I don’t feel bad saying it in public. I spent yesterday afternoon perched on a ladder taking promo shots for his new project, the Big Picture. Jonny lit things on fire and had, you guessed it, really big ideas. It was cold, and bizarre, and a lot of fun.

Everything was shot with a Nikkor 28-80mm lens, shutter priority; between 1/200 and 1/500 shutter speed. (It’s the kit lens that Michelle sent me with Boomer, the Alpha Site’s Nikon F65 film SLR, and it is the best fucking lens in the world. I miss using it on a regular basis.)
