The carpet in a Courtyard Marriott in Savannah, Georgia. I took this as part of my patterns series — and I’m really enjoying that; it is, so far, one of the most fun series I’ve done this year — because I draw this pattern. It’s my standard meeting-notes-margin doodle. It was really bizarre and creepy and fascinating to see it in a carpet.
