A perfect night for baseball, and Carolina dominated Duke, 8-3, behind a superb pitching performance from Adam Warren (8.1IP, 3ER, 7K, 1BB), 6 of 8 combined hitting from Dustin Ackley (2 HR, 1B) and Kyle Seager (3B, 2 2B), and one of the best defensive plays I’ve seen all year from Levi Michael.
shep. and I realized last night that one of the reasons we don’t date is because from February to June, we’re already in a committed relationship with the Carolina baseball team. Who has time for other dudes when you’ve got these guys?
A show at Tir Na Nog tonight, and then aside from the National rolling through town next week and a beloved local band a week from tomorrow, it’s pretty much all baseball all the time from here to the second week of June. I can’t complain.
