Some nights you suck because you suck. Some nights you suck because the 506’s lighting scheme sucks. Some night I suck because I drank too many Long Islands.

And some nights you suck because the lead singer says, no, can we turn the lights down more?

So at that point, all that’s left is to hang out far enough back in the crowd that you can see the Portland/Houston game on the TV while you’re rocking out, because not even the 50mm lens could save last night’s lack of light. Live and learn.
