McCormick Field, home of the Asheville Tourists, is one of the oldest ballparks in the country – the Tourists have been playing there for 100 years in 2024, and it’s a beautiful little park set into a hill with the mountains rising up behind it. The PA guy has excellent taste in music. The mascot is hilarious. Center and right fields are incredibly deep, but Single A pitching is still Single A pitching and we saw a bunch of home runs. A+ ballpark, would Tourist again.
