In the case of last night’s show, a photo is worth more than a thousand words. The Koffin Kats are fierce and wild, and an absolute joy to watch and shoot. They play psychobilly, noisy and tightly contained songs that roll and thump behind a single guitar, a shredded upright bass, and some of the best drumming I’ve seen in years. I can’t describe the experience, just that I know everyone should go see them, and if you can’t do that, my photos are here, and those will have to stand for my words today. Unbelievably fun, unbelievably entertaining.
