Rocking my world in terms of inspiration this week:
- Big Huge Labs’ Favorites Surfer. Start with one of your Flickr favorites; navigate through the favorites of that photographer, the favorites of those people’s favorites, and so on and so forth. Whenever I need a boost, I go here and just surf idly for as long as it takes to feel better about things.
- 30 Amazing Tilt Shift Photographs. I’m sort of fascinated by tilt shift lately; I’m not real into HDR but tilt shift, man, I don’t know. I just think it’s really cool.
- I spent most of the week thinking about toy camera photography — see the previous post as to why — and reading Four Corner Dark.
- This photo of Robert Downey Jr. In a multitude of ways. But mostly in good black and white photography ways.
- Hey, Hot Shot! and my friend Michelle’s In Focus Photography grant, which both award up and coming (young) photographers, giving them the chance to pursue their craft.
- Some very kind words from virtual strangers this week. You know who you are — thank you!
