Wonderfully secret — although, I suspect, not secret to Chatham County teenagers looking to drink illegally — clearing by the Haw River, at the end of a 3/4 mile hike. Although if it were me, I would not swim in the Haw, but apparently some people do.

So quiet you could just barely hear traffic. Really beautiful and peaceful.
