The Love Language is going to be huge, so I’m glad I’ve had the chance to shoot them in small venues — the 506, supporting the Rosebuds at the Cradle back in January — while I could. The album doesn’t do them justice; go download their Daytrotter session and listen to “Manteo” on repeat instead.

Their fans are fucking wretched, though. I hate it when I love a band but want to punch 97% of their fans in the face.

Possibly this is just because I’m a big jerk.
